Where did index.html go
Where did index.html go
I was using Ncover 2.0 and dumping the report to my webserver. Upgraded to 3.0 and now the index file is not created.
So where did it go
RE: Where did index.html go
Is this the html report or a different report. Can you provide the switched used.
Thank you.

RE: Where did index.html go
Here is the settings file I use
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> C:\Program Files\MbUnit\MbUnit.Cons.exe /rt:html /rnf:BlissMbUnitResults.html /rf:D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090209_Trunk\090209.447\Report UnitTestBlissCore.dll UnitTestSignalProcessing.dll UnitTestIppManaged.dll UnitTestWaveLibrary.dll D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090209_Trunk\Bin\x86\Release SignalProcessing BlissCore IppManaged WaveLibrary Coverage.xml Xml2 false Coverage.log false false ipp true D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090209_Trunk\090209.447\Report Test
In 2.0, the directory contained Index.html
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<!-- saved from url=(0022)http://www.ncover.com/ -->
NCover Coverage Report
In 3.0 it does not. I tried copying over this file but some names have changed
Thank you
RE: Where did index.html go
Did it create a file called Report.html in the D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090209_Trunk\090209.447\
directory?
If not, what did it create for you?
Thanks
Joe Feser
RE: Where did index.html go
It create a directory called Report and in that directory the files (some created by MbUnit)

Almost all is there but index.html
RE: Where did index.html go
mertus,
What version are you running? Can you look at the exact version: v3.0.12 is the latest.
Joe
RE: Where did index.html go
it is
C:\Program Files\NCover>NCover.Console.exe NCover Complete v3.0.11 x86 (Administrator) Code Coverage for .NET Copyright (c) 2007 - 2009 Gnoso Inc.
So I will download 3.0.12 and see if that helps
RE: Where did index.html go
The install from the download link is NCover-x86-3.0.11.4379.msi Not 12, where can I get 12?
Thanks
RE: Where did index.html go
apologies for the confusion. the latest is 3.0.13 and it should be available at www.ncover.com/download/current
RE: Where did index.html go
Downloaded and install 3.0.13
C:\Program Files\NCover>NCover.Console.exe NCover Complete v3.0.13 x86 (Administrator) Code Coverage for .NET
But alas there still is no Index.html file. The files are Directory of D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090210_Trunk\090210.453\Report

RE: Where did index.html go
we've tracked down the bug and should have it fixed for the next release. In the meantime, you can workaround the problem by using NCover.Reporting to create a FullCoverageReport with the following command line:
ncover.reporting.exe coverage.xml //r FullCoverageReport //op D:\NightlyBuilds\Bliss_9SVN_090210_Trunk\090210.453\Report
RE: Where did index.html go
It works great. I put the command into my nightly build so I am in no hurry for a fix.
NCover also shows I'm a great programmer as all my methods have Max Cyclic Complexity of 0. Damn, who else can write code with complexity 0. I'm going to ask for a raise!
I assume I am missing an arg on my command line.
Again, thanks for the fix and the soon to be had pay raise...
RE: Where did index.html go
Cyclomatic complexity of zero is awesome. That pretty much means you did not ask for the data when you ran coverage. It is off by default.
The //ct option by default will provide all of the information, you may be explicitly setting it to something lower.
